Dear Friend,
Hi, my name is Mrs. Marchesseault and I am going to be your Kindergarten teacher. I am so excited about being your teacher and sharing all the fun games and learning activities I have planned for you! We will be learning so many great things, reading a lot of great stories, and making wonderful new friends, too! The only school supplies that you will need are a backpack, lunchbox with snacks, water bottle, pocket folder (flat heavy cardboard folders or plastic folders work great!), towel or small blanket (to sit on when we are learning outside),and a change of clothes to stay in the backpack. Your pocket folder and backpack will be used to bring your papers to and from school and your lunchbox will be used to bring your snack and drink to school every day. Please label all of your belongings with your first and last name. I can’t wait to meet you and learn all about you! I bet you are curious about me too. First of all, I LOVE teaching kindergarten! Also, I have lived in New Boston for 23 years. I live with my husband, Leo, and my youngest child who is a college student. During the summer, I love to read, walk, kayak, and spend time outside. Please drop by our classroom and come meet me and check out your new classroom on Tuesday, August 30th, between 1:00-2:00pm. During the first week of school, we will be working on getting to know one another. Here is a great way for you to share you and your unique qualities with your classmates. Please use a lunch size brown bag or something similar, and place 5 things inside the bag that will tell us about you. Please do not include fragile or expensive items. Please have it ready on the first day of school (August 31st). I am looking forward to meeting you soon. Sincerely, Mrs. Kathy Marchesseault [email protected] |
